from girl to lady

just now i saw my neighbour. she married on December last year, only 19 years old. when i see her again, is few hours ago. i almost cant recognise her. she looks like those market aunty, hugging her new born baby. beside her is her husband. when i first looked at them, i thought my neighbour's friend came to visit, bringing along her own son. it sound ridiculous but it's a truth. i witnessed the bridegroom come to fetch the bride last year. that time they were a pair of sweet couple, get married without bordering what others talk about. few months later, she became a mother, transformed into a lady. but her husband is still young and handsome. if i don't know him, i will consider him as a college boy, enjoying his own life.
you see, that's the difference between girls and boys. before married, all of us can easily recognise their status. right after that, everything will change. girls will transform into ladies but boys are still boys. they will only change as time passes.
when my mom knew that they are to marry soon, she was quite shock due to only ONE reason. my neighbour was just graduated from secondary school, got married because she was pregnant. then my mom asked her three dearest daughters, "would you like to marry at this early stage?" my sisters and I answered her, "No!" for me, i will never do such thing. try to imagine, right after secondary school, you become a mother, everyday staying in house to take care of your child, repeating daily routine. you loses the chance to continue studies, enjoy, relax and work. is that consider as a life? of course not!
